Recommended Posts

whats up guys new to the site and dirtbiking in general. my dad and i took apart my carb and when we put the jets back in we didnt count how many turns for the jets. my friend explained to me that, that is important. i need to know if anyone knows how many turns out the jets have to be on the carb. check this carb pic out if need be.

the jets should be screwed in till they are tight. dont overtighten them, but turn them in till they stop.

I just read your other post. the only screw to worry about if your carb is stock is the air screw and idle scew. turn out the air screw two turns and start there. Turn the idle screw all the way in and back it out one turn. That should get your bike to idle....although it will probably be idling high. thats just a starting point. To get the exact numbers you will have to find somebody who has the manual...which I do not. Good luck!
