RM-Z 250 EFI Mapping

Recommended Posts

When using the short wires to tune the bike, I'm assuming when you take them out and put the empty plug in again and start the bike the tuning goes back to stock.

Leaving only three real options Rich, Stock and Lean....

The manual that came with the bike is a little vague on the subject.

Is there any other way to tune the bike with out having a lap top plugged in or anything?

The rich plug isn't rich enough for aftermarket mufflers. If you intend to use the stock (has a restricted inner orifice to reduce noise) then the plugs should be all you need.

If you decide to buy an electronic tuner I recommend the ProBike BikeTech MX unit, plugs straight into Suzuki CDI/Fuel Controller Box and changes selected plug map.
