Air screw

Recommended Posts

I the took the carb apart on my stock KLX 110 to rejet for other mods and the air screw is different than the pics in the parts list. My air screw has the d shaped head witch is no big deal. The problem Im running into is it has a o-ring at the top and a spring and thats it. The manual shows screw ,spring, washer, o-ring. Are the stock d shaped air screw a different configuration? This bike has never been touched since new. I checked over and over making sure there was nothing left in the carb where the air screw goes. It seams weird that I would have a oddball air screw other than every parts manual shows.Any advice?

Same as on my 2004 KLX110. Never had an issue, just cleaned and reinstalled. While your there remove the choke and cap the axle hole with a solid rivet. Every little bit helps!
