1986 Honda CR125R

i bought a 1986 Honda CR125R.

i would like to jet the carb for fuel economy.

what carb jetting would be ideal for this?

i dont know what it has right now.

Well, you jet correctly so the bike runs properly, if that is what you mean by fuel economy, then it depends on your temperatures, elevations, and type of riding that you do.

well the bike is being used for street riding

+/- 10 miles a day.

i saw on another forum for enduros that jetting should be done if converting a bike to a enduro.

so this is why i was asking here on tt.

if you are in the same place and use the bike for street, enduro, sand or MX, if it is jetted properly you dont change it.

When people go to the sand, they are usually pulling large loads on the motor. Thus most people ran the jetting rich to help lubricate the crank and top end. A cheap way to keep it from seizing.

So unless you are going to run WOT all the time on the street, just jet it properly period.
