higher compresion

what is de easy way to get a higher compresion . and what comp. ratio is advaiseble .we can ride with 98 ron oct. at a ktm sxf 250 you can use a thinner base gasket but i dondt know if they made it for crf .

The best thing to do is just replace the piston. You can go as high as 14.5:1 compression with 98 octane fuel. You do realize that there is a lot more stress on the bottom end when you raise the compression. It seems like the 13.5:1 isn't too bad on the bottom end, but when you get above that, it seems to beat them up quick. The nice part about the 13.5:1 is that you can run as low as 91 octane without detonation. I prefer 93 with the 13.5:1 just for safe measures.

Piston is the best way. If you run thinner gaskets or mill the head you are moving the valves closer to the piston.
