I'm fairly new to dirtbike internet forms, like this year new. Is it just my gf, or does everyone's gf or wife nag:rant: them for always being on your laptop looking at TT, Motosport, YouTube (dirtbike vids) or any other dirtbike website? Does she nag you for wanting to always run out to the garage for 20min to go fix something, pull a pink wire, or remove the baffle?!!! She doesn't seem to understand, I just got this bike, so I have alot of questions:prof: I post and when I get response (after work) or while were sitting in here watching TV, I just wanna run out there real quick and pittle with the bike, or start it up, or clean it, hell or just stare at it:ride: lol

So for every man out there with a nagging spouse about how your always wanting to ride your bike, work on your bike, or talk to other riders online, lets her it:smirk:

Amen. A girlfriend that started nagging me about a life-long hobby that I had before her would be an ex-girlfriend very quickly. Trying to accommodate someone that resents not always being the center of attention doesn't work for me.

Excatly!! I've second guessed myself for bein to obsessed, always spending all my time on here and on my bike.... I shouldn't be feeling that way! It's just a hobby. I could be out doin worst things like cheating, partying, drinking,goin to the club, but no. I'm either out riding w/ the guys (n the woods 1000 miles away from women) or the garage or right under her on my laptop! She should be happy I've that I'm so into my sport that I don't have time to be doin anything behind her back!

I would suggest purchasing a laptop. You can take it in the bathroom, the garage, in a closet. The less she sees you on TT, the less bitching you will get. In the end, and if I have to defend myself, I use the "If I didn't have TT I would need to have a mechanic to work on it" which = $.......however, this is a double edged sword as it may start a conversation about selling the bike to get rid of the total problem. Good luck, and I mean it.

Guess I'm pretty lucky.The only time she gripes is when she wants to get on Facebook. Most other times she's fine with it cause with three kids riding and 8 bikes and two fourwheelers, she's very Thankful for TT for helping me keep things running. Dang sure can't afford to take them to the Dealer..
