Winter riding!

Some nice winter riding not much snow though! Track was completely frozen and rock hard so studded tires where a must! Really fun day of riding and not to cold, about -2 degrees Celsius.

If you are talking about the things on the handlebars, Rocky Mountain sells them under the Tusk brand. I got some for riding on the lakes this winter and I hear they work great.

The bags on the handlebars are really great, once you get comfortable with having them there they are not in the way, and i can ride with normal mx gloves when its cold and that they would be dangerous is just bull, almost everyone here in sweden who rides in the winter uses them ?

I don't think the tracks local to me would even think about letting this happen, i wish they would though, i have an old set of tires to stud up. lol

i just said they look sketchy because, if you slid out, your hands are going to stay with the bars and that means injuries.

however my thermal gloves are to small!

i love hittin' the trails on the first or second snow here (between 1-4 inches) so i never have to buy studded tires or stud mine as long as they are still relatively new, but now i have to wait for the real snow to sled because after a day or two all the snow gets icy and hard so i dont ride. and i dont have the money to buy studs or studded tires. oh well guess il just have to wait til spring. i cant wait til were thawed out around here ? just another 3 months...

Yes, for cold weather riding they're a must. The nice thing is that they are soft so if you crash you hands just fall out. No more dangerous then wrap around handguards!

I use those mittens on my dirt bike, atv, and street cruiser. They are NOT dangerous. BTW I use sheet metal screws in my knobs. They are cheap (free to me) and work well.

Was thinking, bar mitts + heated grips + gloves = happiness!

PowerMadd makes nice wind breakers that go over the bark busters / grips . They are more open , so if ya wreck , you fall right out of them easy . They stop most of the wind and with grip heaters , you're good .
