New WRF450 Wet Weight - TBA?

Why would a big company hold off on annoucing this on their site. Are they trying to shave more weight? I know KTM offroad models will porbably have an edge, I just want to know how much edge before I make a deposit to get one. Their bike comes out in March 2012?

276 was the weight posted when they first announced it.

That's about right: FI adds 5-6 lbs of weight.

Yep, looks slimmer. The scale doesn't lie though. Hopefully it rides lighter than it is.

My KTM 400 XCW in most situations rides a lot lighter than the true pig it is, ha.

i really hope its not 276 wet im really thinking about getting one but im might stick with ktm if its that heavy

The Canadian Yamaha website lists the weight for the 2012 at 124 Kg/273.5 Lb with 7.5 L/2 Gal of fuel.
