holy fuel screw adjustment batman

Recommended Posts

Finally got around to pulling the carb from my 2000 S that I got a couple months ago. Its was all stock except they removed the spark arestor. The main is a 142.5, pilot 22.5 (I think those are stock) and the fuel screw was at 6 turns out. Not 6 half turns. 6 full 360 degree turns. That's why I like to go over everything I buy used.

WAS THE PLUG {brass i think, cant remeber} UNDER THE FUEL SCREW REMOVED? If so it has been tampered with. Your jets are the same as my factory jets. good call on looking. Was it running poorly?

Yes the plug was already removed. It really wasn't running that bad. I wanted to pull the carb to clean and rejet do to the 3x3 I just cut.
