cr 125 low end

i just baught a 2001 honda cr 125 sunday and it has no low rpm power whats so ever. what can i do to give it the extra power down there tha i need? it has full fmf exhaust

You gotta rev the shhh out of those 125s.. Not exactly known for their low end power.

Double the displacement. Maybe a fly wheel weight to slow down the rpm climb to make it more tractable. Otherwise, some engine work can be done to give you a little more of what you are looking for. But, it's a 125, got to make it sing!

If you wanted low end, you bought the wrong bike.

To add more power down low get a MX bonz exhaust spacer. adjust the gearing with a larger rear sprocket and then do the squishband on the head. Also the PWK swap gives you better more consistant jetting down low

I agree. I changed the sprocket on mine I run 13/53 now pulls hard but less top speed.
