Chromed XR650L has anyone done it?

Since I got this thing all apart, I was thinking of getting the parts chromed and red anodized, has anyone ever done this or seen one?

What part would you possibly want to chrome on an XR650L?

I'm proud that the only chrome parts on mine are those little brake line/speedometer holders on the front forks and a few bolt heads.

Of course, I prefer dirt riding and don't bother trying to make the bike shiny clean very often.

I agree with Scott, why would you want chrome?

I'm also proud of the absence of chrome on my XR. Nothing says big gut cruiser rider quite like chrome.

I seen a few nice race atv that had chrome frame, swingarm, cylinders, head, cover forks and nice wheels, just a idea.

That is where the XL500 that I had stolen when I lived in Maryland (just south of Baltimore) ended up! Buncha thugs.
