XR250 engine case

I would agree, But It looks like it may be very similar according to the parts fiche but who knows without looking at the actual cases, There may be differences in bearing & seal etc sizes

The later cases did not have the complete shroud under the crank. Its perfectly normal.

so what is the function to have a complete shroud or half shroud? When a saw a complete shroud I was thinking that you have more oil on the crank than a half shroud

The crank is pressure oiled. Oil pooling below the crank just causes windage losses and the oil gets beat into foam.
