My new 150rb

Recommended Posts

Well, after 5 years in the pit bike scene, I sold my stockers and midsize and bought this. A all stock 2008 crf150rb. It was bought as a left over this year and has very few hours on it. I already had all the fluids and filters changed, valves adjusted, jetted, and checked for recalls. It should be ready to ride. Question: I weigh about 150, is the suspension too soft for me? Should I re-spring front, rear or both?

Yes, just like any other adult on a pit bike, the suspension needs to valved and resprung depending on your weight. I would say .42's in fron and 6.0 in rear. Based on what I run. I'm 155 lbs.

Yes on the springs and re-valve. I weigh about 150 with gear and the stock springs were not stiff enough. I went with Factory Connection springs, and I think I went 4.0 in the front, and 5.8 in the rear. It seemed to be about right.
