clean enine cases

does anyone here know how to make engine cases look new again? race season is now over and im wanting to make the bike look new again. new plastic, polish the frame and all that stuff. i just cant seem to find something to make the engine cases look good. any ideas would be nice.

Do you have access to a bead or soda blaster? Or a parts washer

Soda blaster.... Im stripping a motor down right now to do just that. I prefer soda over anything else because its water soluble so it wont hurt seals or bearings if you dont get them 100% clean. Just a peace of mind I like to have.

If you have an air compressor, A soda blaster is only about $15 at harbor freight!!!!

ya. i was just looking on harbor freight but didnt see one that cheap.
