is this where the inline filter goes?

Yes other end! But you know most are removing them now, or did you get the newer one? I took mine out and able running the bigger Golan one

so i think im going to swap out the ear clamps with hose clamps. how the heck do you get those ear clamps off? just cut the crimp somehow with some wire cutters? i may have to buy some pincers but if theres a secret let me know please.

The new one is a whiteish grey & the the old one is black.

Make sure you keep everything clean & dirty free as you dont want dirt entering the system.

Here in the UK the EFI models have been recalled to have the new inline filter fitted by the dealer, they fit the new filter with a new jubilee clip & make sure all is good on the computer , plus give you 2 spare filters.

The new filter is a wider mesh, the old one was a finer mesh that was blocking & not letting enough fuel through, hence put strain on the injectors causes them to fail.

Make sure you use Fuel Injection hose clamps. I was told....
