Retiring the 230F

Recommended Posts

The lightweight 230 has been a fun project over the past few years, but it has run its course. The new project will pretty much include nothing but adding gas and riding.

What are you going to do with the 230?

I'm not sure. It'll probably take up space in my shop.

I might tinker on it now and again.

your 230 has a nice stable mate ! love gas-gas...

i kinda went the other way, last ride was a kx250 2T..

i got tired of feeding it, and the constant tinkering it required...

my 230 is a plug and play...

enjoy the gasser...:bonk:

I did the same, then went the GG way. I had done the XR200, 250, 280 thing, KTM 400, YZ250 all set up for woods, spent a bit of time on a YZ125, TTR125LE set up for an adult, then settled on the 230 as a fun project.

Now I'm over it and ready to see what the GasGas has to offer. I am excited!

Got any pics of how your 230 sits now?

and maybe a list of all the stuff you've done to it?

I know you have a thread, but its kinda long to read the whole thing. lol

It's in the picture at the start of this thread.

It would take me as long to put the list together as it would be for you to read the thread.

Don't sell your 230. It's a classic in the making. Someday Honda will quit making them and everyone that had one will want another. Like an old friend, it will sit there, waiting for your renewed intrest, and when that time comes, it will be there, sure and eager to please.
