Pit Bike questions.

Recommended Posts

alrighty, so ive been meaning to buy a pitbike ofr awhile now, and ive been dead-set on a klx/drx 110 as they are the most reliable, and the have the most modifications avalible. However they dont come cheap, around $1000-1400 here. Ive seen modded crf80's, and they come cheaper around $500-800. Would this bike be as fast/fun as a klx 110. has anybody modded one? pictures :smirk:

:bonk:

any ifo regarding these bikes is appreciated. thanks

i know, i have to sell my ds80 and cr250 before i buy anything.

im just wondering how a modded crf80 would handle against a modded klx 110.

The 80 is a totally different beast.

Even modified, I dont think you will be able to touch a Full Mod 110.

Some of those guys are pushing 170cc with 65 suspension set ups. They rev wayyy faster than the XR80 ever will AND weigh less.

Go with a KLX/DRZ 110 man

but for use as a play bike. hitting jumps around my house and screwing around with friends.

i also like that its a 5 speed and it already has a manual clutch.
