Pit Bike questions.

alrighty, so ive been meaning to buy a pitbike ofr awhile now, and ive been dead-set on a klx/drx 110 as they are the most reliable, and the have the most modifications avalible. However they dont come cheap, around $1000-1400 here. Ive seen modded crf80's, and they come cheaper around $500-800. Would this bike be as fast/fun as a klx 110. has anybody modded one? pictures ?

any ifo regarding these bikes is appreciated. thanks

my sugestion would be to not buy around christmas time... we usually buy our 110s for around 700. have some patience with craigslist and you will end up with an awesome deal

i know, i have to sell my ds80 and cr250 before i buy anything.

im just wondering how a modded crf80 would handle against a modded klx 110.

i would personally choose the drz/klx 110

The 80 is a totally different beast.

Even modified, I dont think you will be able to touch a Full Mod 110.

Some of those guys are pushing 170cc with 65 suspension set ups. They rev wayyy faster than the XR80 ever will AND weigh less.

Go with a KLX/DRZ 110 man

but for use as a play bike. hitting jumps around my house and screwing around with friends.

i also like that its a 5 speed and it already has a manual clutch.
