KYB TC Oil Level

Recommended Posts

I'm doing the fork seals on my 06 KX250 and can't decipher how much oil goes into the forks, specifically the inner chamber. I know they are supposed to have 300cc of oil in the forks, but how much goes in the inner vs. The outer chambers?

Thanks.

approx.190cc, but you must overfill them for proper bleeding. I fill them to a level of 135mm (rod extended)

170cc for the inner and these forks are not the ones used on the 2006 and newer yammies.as they use 200cc in the ic.

you can't overfill the inner as it blows out the excess when you bottom the damper rod

you will need to fit some 7mm spacers between the IC springs and IC piston to build up pressure in those forks this will help rod return fully
