Jetting Problems on my 2T

Recommended Posts

I live in pennsylvania at about 500 ft altitude and as soon as it started getting cold my bike has no low-end power so I'm guessing its the carb because it feels like theres not enough fuel getting to the cylinder, or I've also thought about the air/fuel mixture is to lean/rich. so it wouldnt burn at lower rpms. I have a 1992 Yamaha WR200 with a Dynoport pipe, silencer, and boyeson power reeds. any help would be great!

Maybe need to richin up a little with bigger jets ... sounds to me a bit lean if it is starving for fuel .... remember as it gets colder u need to go up on jets or at min richen air screw by turning to right ... dont want to run lean and blow her up ... im still riding my kx250 but jets almost stock on tad rich side but thats what u want for colder temps ... also depends on where and how u ride ( mx vs trails etc ) :bonk:
