Question for people with 12s.

How did you remove your grips? Mine are COMPLETELY sealed to the bar like it has been molded to the bar. I managed to get most of the grip off but there is still a thick layer of rubber on the handle bar.

i just throw the the stock throttle tube away and install a aluminium one,

the grips from the factory are vulcanized on !!

Yeah im trying to do the left side right now. It's sealed on SOO tightly it's impossible im taking a sander to it right now. I was about to buy new handlebars cause I could NOT get them off. as for the right sight I am def just going to buy a new throttle tube.

I had to scrape off the remaining grip with a knife on the left side. All KXFs are like this.

As someone said, just give up on the throttle tube and buy a new one.

Yeah I just bought a little 5 dollar motion pro throttle tube, looks crappy but hopefully it's ok.

Wire wheel will take the grips off. Be careful with the throttle tube though.

Also, makes a mess. But it works.
