Sore Shoulder

I started noticing my shoulder was sore about 2 months ago. There was not a specific instance that I know of to cause the pain. I did coach a youth football team this fall and threw a lot of footballs for 3 months. Started noticing the pain mid season. It did not come on gradually, noticed overnight pretty much. I have tried to stretch and workout the shoulder and I have also tried resting the shoulder. niether seems to make much difference. I can do pull ups and push ups without issue. throwing is no good. the pain seems isolated along the back of my shoulder. I cannot duplicate the pain but lifting a certain direction or making quick movements definately makes it go. Any ideas?

Worn out biceps tendon or rotoator cuff tear. Since you are my existing patient, send me an email, and I will order an MRI. Include what side it is and your full name.
