Recommended Posts

Do irc motocross z mark 3 sound like stock rubber? I wish I could find spec sheet if anyone has leads, thanks

Look on the side of the tires and you'll find a 4 digit number branded into it. That's the date code. If your frame's serial number is low, that 4 digit number should end in 1, for 1981, if your bike has the original tires. If it's late production bike, it might end in 2, for 1982.

BTW, the original tires on my '82 RM250 are Bridgestone M22 and M23. The '82 KX also came with them, but I don't know for sure about the '82 YZ's.

Yes the 125j had IRCs from factory, I can't remember what type I'll have a look in the manual when I get back from holidays if you like I'm sure it's in there.

I'll be back in a few days

Does your back tire look kind of like the rear on this? If so I used a IRC ve33 18x410 it's as close as I could get to stock.

Both front and rear tires are alternating rows of 4, then 5 knobs, with square recess's cut into each knob. Front size is 3.00-21 4ply, rear is 110/90-18 61m
