moose hand guards with stock plastic ones?

i have an 05 dr650 and i want to give my levers some protection. will they fit under my stock plastic guards so i can use both?

no. why the heck? there is no point for the stock ones if you get aftermarket ones.

i meant just to get the aluminum parts and not spend the extra on the plastic. but i looked at it today and realized it was retarded to even ask.

i like the wind protection my plastic gives me now, but thats the only protection it gives me

hmmm well maybe if you cut off the big mounting tabs on the stock gaurds you might be able to mount them to the new metal frames using their threaded holes

If money isn't the main issue Moose also has a large cover option for their bark busters. They have very good wind, rain and mud protection. I use them on mine... very helpful in cold weather riding. :bonk:
