Emptying float bowl - WR250.

Recommended Posts

Looked all through the manual and can't find out how to do it! On my DRZ it was obvious but anyone got any idiots guides?

Thanks

Isn't there a drain screw at the bottom of the carb bowl?

On my 2009 WR-250F, it needs a small allen wrench (hexagon wrench).

+1

follow the vent tube at the bottom of the carb to the allen screw on the carb. . turn that to get the gas out.

If the screw is stuck or having problems locating it you can always take the cap off the bottom of the float bowl and drain it that way. If I remember correctly it is a 17mm head.
