hi there im gonna make this really simple. i cant get the cylinder off my bike after i removed the head. i beleve its stuck on one of the dowels.i know enough not to stick any thing in there to pry it apart.im tapping up words with a rubber mallet and 3/4 of it is coming up but one side wont budge any ideas. or jus keep doing what im doing thanks.

lay it back flat and hit the side that sticks. if you have it cocked to the side its probably binding it even more.

Yup as mentioned keep it level with the cases & tap around the area that is stuck. If you can spray some lubricant it will help as well. If the cyl. hasn't been pulled in a while it can take some patience to take off.

Make sure you remove all four nuts. There's one behind the RC valve cover.

yeah. take a wooden blockor stick and use that to hit certain points of the cylinder,

you want to hit it on the side but upwards. make them level too.

right on it was just stuck on one of the dowls. just had to keep tapping it back and forth using some pb blaster pen oil. thanks

you dont need those PB lubricants.

its just like iv said. its a b%&tch to knock them open but they will, eventually.
