how to replace background speedometer light on 99 ktm 640?

Anyone know an easy way to replace speedometer light on 99 ktm 640? It's the background light that doesn't work? I just bought it and I assume it use to work? Everything else works, so it must be bulb. Can't find any info on this anywhere?
