Rear brake

Recommended Posts

Hello, i need help with something. Ok, my rear brake isn't working and today I bled the brake then removed the pads to check their condition. I had no problem bleeding the brake, my problem is i had to slightly move the brake piston inwards to get the pad out and now with the pads back in, i can't get the piston to push back up against the pads. So how can i get the piston to move back out, i've already tried pumping the brake pedal several times and the piston still isn't moving any and the bleeder nuts are all tight as well and there's brake fluid in it too. Any ideas as i'm stuck with this?? Bike is a kx250f btw. Thanks. :smirk:

if you have no air leaks then you probably need new seals on the piston. Take the caliper off, take the bleeder bolt out and with your hand on the piston shoot some compressed air into the bleeder hole and itll shoot the piston out. Theres a couple large o rings in there you can replace.
