Recommended Posts

Well I picked this bike up for this years hare scramble racing to replace my RM250. It appeared to a decent bike with some minor issues and a little dirt. It turns out the bike needs TONS of work but also had some nice things done to it.

I will post some pictures, but this is what is getting done:

Tires, tube, rim locks

Already had brand new suspension bearings

New chain, sprockets and chain sliders

FMF gnarly pipe with KTM fmf silencer

v-force 3 reeds

carb cable and cleaning

Throttle tube, grips

GUTS racing tall soft seat with step

I was in that picture, but its all good now.....took my first ride on the bike in 8" of snow with no studs! Bike runs great, enough power to pick the front tire up in 3rd gear in all that snow!!!!

cant wait to feel the power when I have some traction!!!!!!!!!!!! :smirk:

Curious: I too just picked up an 08 300. I see that you are re-doing the bottom end. How do you know when you need this done. I can do a top end no problem, but the bottom is another story.
