Honda 500af

Recommended Posts

heath insurance, stack of new rear tires, gym membership. Not necessarily in that order.

My only tip would be to make sure that motor is in good shape, I'd pull it down and inspect the tranny closely.

i have a 03 with a CR 500 motor in it,put the motor as low as possible. If the tank touches the plug you need to go lower. You will need to probably mod frame on clutch side as well.

The first gen CRF 450 are good high speed handlers so the 500 works good in that rig. You need offset triples or some other means to make it steer better.Try to use the original Y section. Bike will work better than the newer CRF or CR chassis in high speed, sand,or if big rider.Chassis is stiff however.
