Springs beating on upper tubes

Recommended Posts

46mm KYB's on a 03 RM250.

My fork springs are doing a number on the insides of my upper tubes. Changing my fork oil every 25hrs, coming out milky. First I thought it was a moisture issue but now I can see most of the coating gone on the upper tubes from spring rub so I've realized it's aluminum in the oil. Springs have proper preload and everything seems fine and well, forks preform well. But is there anything I can do about this wear? If I have the upper tubes anodized will they do the inner tubes as well and get me some more life out of these tubes?
