Do you trust pre-oiled air filters?

Recommended Posts

Need to pick up a new air filter, tempting to get a pre-oiled one, so I can just take the old one out and throw the new one in, ready to go; only helps the first time I realize; but for those who have used them, do they seem to be pre-oiled well (Moose for example)?

a pre-oiled filter will be only once untill you clean it after couple hours of ride so should not be worry unless you plan to get new one every ride just my 2 cents

I have used Ready Filters in the past with no issues.. They are real handy when you don't have time to prepare a fresh filter..

I picked up a dt1 preoiled and it was pretty even. But like above i hit it with a quick spray and its worked well.

i used Ready filters a couple times, and they would tear after the 2nd or 3rd wash/cleaning.

Maybe I got a bad one, but I bought a No Toil and it was very dry, plus it came apart the the first time I cleaned it. Ive just been sticking to regular filters and keeping spares oiled and ready in a ziploc.
