hydraulic clutch issues

Recommended Posts

just bought an sx 125 that needed a new slave cylinder on the clutch, replaced that, and was trying to bleed the system with no success until i realised the piston in the master cylinder was jammed all the way closed, so i thought i would take the hose off and try blow it out with compressed air, but the metal end of the hose looked like someone attacked it with a chisel, im worried a piece of metal has come off that and damaged the bore/piston any tips/suggesions or is it f@#$ed?

NO REAL BIG DEAL, worst case scenario is the o ring dies from shavings and you buy a rebuild kit. You did not mention if you got the piston moved. Maybe soaking it in mineral oil will free it up if its been dry a while
