Cr250 05-07 pipe on an 01 bike.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have this crazy idea of putting an 05-07 pipe in my 01 cr250. why, coz i really want a DOMA pipe and they dont sell it in my local store other than the 05-07 pipes. Im wanting to support my local store.

Has this been done before? Can this be done?

Kalle

I'd say no. Different frames & motors. It would require some seriuos modifications to the pipe & wouldn't be woth the money & no gaurantee it would work. Have you tried a stock pipe on the 01 ? It's probably the best option for that bike.

I own an 07 & would be interested in the pipe if you can post a link or info to the place that sells them. In my experience on the case reed motor the Doma pipe did perform better than the stocker on my 03 model.

i did research a bit. http://www.doma-shop.de/index.php?cPath=3_32 this site sells doma in deutchland.

id love to buy it from them but im afrad that pipes are to fragile taht you wouldnt believe how the airliner staff handles goods nowadays.

was going for pro circuit work pipe but its not available anymore. im off for any FMF. Iv heared mixed stories about them.

you can get the works again.

dont waste your time on trying to make an 02-07 pipe fit your 01. you would have to somehow incorporate an exhaust flange onto your current motor. dont see that happening without a whole lot of effort, design and time.
