Hello all

I have an 2004 kx 85

Ive removed the right side of the engine and clutch to replace the shifter shaft

theres a ball bearing sat at the bottom of the engine where the oil drains out

Is this supposed to be there? if not where could it of come from

Any one Have any ideas?

no, the bearing isnt suppose to be there. there are 4 bearings located in the governor. check to see if one is missing. other than that, check all the visible roller bearings to see if they are coming apart and replace them if need be.
