rmz hot start

Anybody know why suzuki's have a hot start on a efi bike, when say honda's don't we have moved from red to yellow my lad love's his 2012 rmz 450 but just wounderd why it has a hot start.

My guess is the idle mixture is probably too rich when warm to start the bike. The hot start probably just allows some extra air to lean the mix out rather than fooling with the fuel map. just a guess though.

I have wondered why its there too mate,

I have never really needed to use it either, i forget its there most of the time

Glad im not the only one just found it a bit strange i would have thought the ecu/efi would sort it out as it doe's on the hondas.

ANY one else got the answer?.
