Gearbox Oil for GasGas 2T?

Hello,

what gearbox oil do you use for Gas Gas ec 300 ??? models after 2010, but i think that's no differences. in manua thei say to use only 10w30, but I found that it's quite rarely this kind of oil: gearbox 10w30.

i found also gearbox oil but w75 or w80 ?????

so, what oil do you use gor GG gearbox???? do you use same oil for winter temp as for summer ???

2-stroke g-boxes , do not have the same demands as 4-stroke engines,

in Europe I think you should be fine with "medium-weight" gear oil,

change to light-weight if it makes clutching too heaviy in winters temps,

i have used amsoil ''supershift''syn trans oil for years in all my gasgas bikes(ec and txt).bikes clutch and shift better with that than any other oil i have used.

Rotella 10-40

rotella t 0-40 or 5-40 synthetic,or synthetic blend. Gassers have huge clutch packs,this one one of the only oils that allowes you to start in gear with the clutch pulled in.

Yep, its funny. Its a dirt bike. It is a 2 stroke. Go get some 2stk gear oil, any brand. The bike really does not care. Go riding.

Yep, vegetable oil would work in a pinch ? I use motor oil like Rotella, works great.
