1970's XL250/350 foot pegs.

Just wanted to share something I found out recently. Any one that rides a 1970’s Honda XL250 or XL350 knows full well these bikes have horrible foot pegs. Too short and too narrow. I was looking at my daughter’s 2003 CRF150F sitting right next to my 1974 XL250. The foot pegs looked interchangeable. Sure enough, they fit. I bought a set of CRF150F pegs on eBay for $10. They are now on my XL250. Longer and about twice as wide. Gotta love it.

That is a good one to know, thanks. There are a lot of interchanges like that. I have a set of fat pegs from a '80 CR250 on my '82 XL500R. The pegs off a 2000 KDX220 look like they are gonna fit my wife's '82 XT250 too, but I haven't tried that one. Troy341

good find! the XL OEM pegs were though far better than the rubber ones that came on other brands.
