Yoshimura RS4... Slip vs Full ?

Recommended Posts

Don't waste your money on a slip on. Full system is the only way to go. There is no performance difference between a stainless system and the ti/carbon that I have. The only difference is weight.

It all depends on what the rider is looking for, If he is looking for the most bottom end power, the stock head pipe with the Yosh RS4 Slip on is going to work, full system would develop more in the mid to upper rpm ranges. we were at an Arena cross race about a month back, I was in the pits, most Honda's were running the Yosh systems, some FMF's , I got talking to some of the mechanic's for the 250 Honda's and he did like the Slip on, and one did say there is not a major hp gain from the slip on to the full system in the YOSH RS4.

I would make a sprocket change or do a remap before I would waste the money on a slip on. A good remap is like having a full aftermarket exhaust as long as it's a good one. I've had a bad one and now I have a really good remap.
