How to remove clutch cable from yz125

Recommended Posts

I have a 2006 yz125 with a very stiff clutch lever. I just bought it and it's in very good condition but I need to check my cable for fraying. Anyone know anything else? And how to remove?

Follow the clutch cable down to the ignition cover... Take that off carefully so you can preserve the gasket hopefully... You will see the cable end inside, bend the little cable stay up and out it comes.

I second this. You will probably have to take off your gas tank.. I had to on my rm 125
