KYB Bladder Caps

Recommended Posts

I have broke the valve stem off of two CRF450 bladder caps this week. they are the cheapest POS I've ever seen. Last one I broke with my hands. didn't push on it much at all. just wiggled it a little to get the cap to seat up against the ring. anybody else having this issue? the aluminum is thin as hell.

im just getting my feet wet in the suspension category, but i happend to have a valve stem installer and that seems to work great pulling out the caps at an even motion. incase you dont use one heres a link http://www.matcotools.com/catalog/product/TT12A/TUBELESS-TIRE-VALVE/. if your using one of these id have to say that there is some junk caps out there cause this dosent seem to put alot of side to side tension on the stem.

I'm using something very similar to that. these things are junk. it's like they're made of pot metal. the thickness of the aluminum around the stem is about 1/16". ridiculous
