2011 yz450f breather hose

there is a breather hose which runs from the top of the tapped cover right down to bottom of the frame does anyone know weather it can be pluged up and periodically drained iam afraid of water getting up there as where i ride has a lot of deep water.

If you mean the cam cover, just route the vent hose into the air-box and you're good.

The best approach is to put a T fitting in the hose near the top and leave it where it is. Route a hose from the new T fitting to the air box. The air box hose should be filtered, however. This set up will drain excess oil normally, but be unable to draw water because of the venting provided by the upstairs hose.

The breather cannot be plugged for any length of time without the crankcase pressure forcing its way out and taking a gasket with it.
