Haynes or Clymer?

Recommended Posts

Looking at getting a manual finally for my 06 crf 450 x. Have got 2 free ones due to links but they were both for R's, not X's and what I'm dealing with now is electric start problems.

So my question is, as far as repair manuals go, is Clymer or Haymes better?

I have a Clymer for for my xr 350 and know there were a few things off in it but still helped me rebuild the motor

Cheers,

Noods

OEM for sure. I had the Clymer manual at one time and although it seemed decent, it had far too many inconsistencies. For example, I found several measurement specs that were incorrect such as torque and clearances. Completely unacceptable IMO.
