My old new WR 250 2 smoker!

Recommended Posts

Hi last weekend i rebuild my wr and i want to share with all of you, i rebuild my engine complete, i had to replate, change piston, change rod, all bearing and seals, the engine now it´s like new, also i change some other things from rear suspension (bearings linkage, and other stuff from there).

Change chain, throttle, put some new reeds (superstock reeds from boyesen).

Send my right radiator to rebuild either, and some other things that i don´t remember now...

Next weekend i´m going to make the break in, hope that everything i´ll work fine.

Some pictures of my old new wr 250.

I acquired a 1994 WR 250 Z Two Stroke. I am in the process of removing parts for cleaning and inspection. I will need to replace the following items and would like your input:

> Throttle Tube and Housing

> CDI and Mounting Band

I want to replace plastics, eventually refresh entire bike with all new. At the moment I only need radiator shrouds and rear fender. I have seen some decent WRs with new plastics. A great performace enhancement seems to be with with the YZ seat and tank.

Thanks
