09 or newer plastic on 05-08 CRF450R

I'm not sure how many times this has been asked, but I didn't have much luck searching for it.

Has anyone been able to fit an entire set of 09+ CR450R plastic on an 08 or older model? I love the looks of the newer plastic, especially the side number plates and rear fender. Just wondering how hard it'd be to modify the plastic to fit, and how much modification is possible. I know some of the plastic can be fitted with some minor modifications, but if anyone has done a total conversion, I'd love to see it and read about how to do it.
