What's the trick to undoing those pesky 2 carb electrical connections on the yz250 carb?

I dread rejetting everytime I have to take off the carb cus of these 2 stupid connections. I try to dig a lil screwdriver into the side prong things and pull down but it just chews up the nubs. Are my fingers just to fat or am I missing something here? I'm talking about the tps and solenoid connections....any tips guys?

-First, wash the bike and blow the fittings out with compressed air.

-Push the connector together (very hard) like you're plugging them in and then press the release button.

-Now, still holding the releasebutton, pull them apart by the plastic housings (not by the wires).

If they get full of dirt/silt/sand/mud/etc they will jam up and be very hard to disconnect.

A little water followed by some compressed air can help flush out the crud.

Same way I do it but I still use a small screwdriver on the tab and push and pull them apart
