What part is it specifically that you're breaking?

Is it crash damage, or just during normal riding?

They offer an adapter to use for the twinwalls. Part# R-003.

Is that housing actually aluminum? It doesn't state on their website.

A few trips back I managed to overtighten one of the bolts on my housing the night before we were leaving. Damn T-handles.

Anyway, called the local shop and the guy was kind of an idiot.

"Would you happen to have an aftermarket throttle housing for a YZ250?"

"Uh, you mean YZ250f right?"

"No."

"Oh. Well yeah, we don't have any."

Great. So I sucked it up and went to the Yamaha dealer, who charged me $37 for JUST the top part of the housing. No bottom, no tube, no dust cover. Whatever.

Two days later I was back in the first shop and walked by their MotionPro display. Hanging on the shelf in plain sight was a complete housing with a new throttle tube, IDENTICAL to stock YZ, for like 19 bucks.

I believe I've also seen MSR and Bike Master housings. Both look fairly close to OEM, and most likely much cheaper.
