Hi I am wondering if anybody could tell me if a headcover off of a 82 honda XL500 fit a 79 honda XL500? thanks

I don't think that there are any differences. Bikebandit shows different part numbers, but they sure look the same. Yes I have both. Check in Vintage too. Troy341

According to this, it will. Scroll down the list to about the bottom third on the right hand side. Double check to make sure that's the part you're referring to.
