2005 rm125 carburetor HELP

Recommended Posts

So like a dumba** i went to adjust the idle on my new 05 rm 125 and was adjusting the air screw haha DOH!. So my question is, how many turns out should the air screw be for stock settings? Also the bike is SPLOOGING LIKE A MOFO, so could i tinker with the air screw to help with that a little bit? or would i have to run tests to dial in my jetting?

Sorry for another carburetor topic, thanks in advance for any tips.

oh your air screw should be 1 and a half to two turns out and the splooging means that you were either running it too rich of an air fuel, or you are running too rich of a gas oil mixture. i re3ccomend running a 32 to 1 for racing or trail riding a 40 to 1 ratio. amsiol dominator is defferent tho because that i run around a 50 to 1.
