thinking of racing this year how do i get ready?

so i am thinking aout racing this year. The last time i raced was on a 110 so its been about 6 years. hhow should i get ready for the races? the local tracks seem to have a few races coming up in march so...

I bike almost every day any way... and 20 crunches and 20 pushups a day for gym class so...anything else?

I'll start lifting tomorrow then

Ride, as much as possible. if the race is 20min motos ride 20 min motos.

20 crunches and 20 pushups a day
add a 0 to those numbers and you will be in good shape. Edited by ekulb14

practice! Go out to the track and learn it, know what your doing before you race. See where your at, like what ekulb said if your motos are 20 min, ride for 20 min, if you can do it, its a good start. crunches and push ups are nice, but look for work outs for your back and legs. What i have been doing is two or three days a week i work out to gain muscle, one day upper body the other lower. twice a week i will do cardio, either boxing or mountain bike.
